On October 19th (Lily's 2nd birthday) Jeromy and I took Layna and Lily to T-Rex to eat. Lucy stayed with Gamma Judes. We were celebrating both girls birthdays. They brought out a dessert for each girl and each dessert had a lit candle in it. Well, Lily took one look at Layna's candle and decided it needed to be stopped. She reached across and put the candle out with her fingers. Just like that! We were all shocked even the wait staff. Lily didn't even cry. Layna did though. So we had to give Layna Lily's candle. It was almost as if Lily was saying, "Hey no it's not your birthday Layna it's mine"! This might be the last year we celebrate their birthdays together.
Love you girls,
Mommy

Really?
Somehow I found enough energy to mop the kitchen floor this morning. A couple of hours later I witness Lily spraying her juice box like a foundation all over the floor. Really?
Lucy doesn't cry too much but she has managed to cry every time I drop Layna off and pick her up from pre-school! She cries so loud that Layna's pre-school teacher and I can't even hear each other- so now we don't even attempt to talk. Really?
Layna has been sick on and off for 2 weeks so we took her to the doctor. The doctor said she has a terrible sinus infection that was turning into pneumonia. Really?
Last but not least- before we had the baby our neighbors did not have dogs. Since we have had the baby ALL of our surrounding neighbors got dogs and they bark a lot! Especially during nap time and at night. Really?
Okay, now some positive thoughts. My Uncle and Aunt are coming to visit this weekend and we are going to celebrate my dad's birthday! Layna is swimming like a pro and on her way to making the swim team and she isn't even 5 yet. You go Girl! My loving husband is already in the process of planning a family vacation for next summer- YES! Now, what about one without the kids?

I'm back
I decided it was time to write again now that Lucy is 2 weeks old. Having 3 kids sure is busy. Although I have to say that I felt busy before I had Lucy. Lucy is a great addition to our family. She is such a good baby. She rarely cries and sleeps 3-4 hour stretches at night. She would sleep longer but I wake her up to feed her because she is still recovering from jaundice and her doctor doesn't want her to go more then 4 hours without eating. I do feel that going from 2-3 is easier then from 1-2 but I have to admit that I have not taken all three out by myself yet. Also, last week my mom was here to help me out but now she is back to work so on Monday I have to be Supermom. Also, I have to pull out our sit and stand stroller. I hate that thing because it is so long but so necessary for us right now. I know someday we will be very happy that we had our kids close in age because I do not want to be in my forties with a toddler. I barely have the energy now. All is good for now but you may get a different response next week or even tomorrow! Love you girls!

What no, nap?
Why is it that the day I am the most tired, Lily decides not to nap. I even took the girls to the Kidscape Museum today. So they should be extra tired. How many more hours till Jeromy gets home?

I still get shocked!
Today I asked Layna if she wanted to go to the pool and she said, "No thanks." What? My daughter the fish does not want to go to the pool! Girl, you never cease to amaze me.

That's what I get!
So, McDonalds has large drinks for $1. I don't drink coffee but I need a caffeine boost. Getting McDonalds lunch for my kids (the second time this week) I get a large Diet Coke. Lily being the 19 month old that she is, cries for a drink and what do I do, give her one. She spills the entire drink all over our newly laid tile which has not be grouted yet so the Diet Coke is between the cracks. All I can say is sorry Jeromy. This just goes to show you how simple things such as a drink can spell or should I say spill disaster!

Day 1
This is my first blog so please bare with me. Today, I went to the doctor and baby Suman is doing well! Only 9 more weeks to go! I hate this rain but sure do love the cooler weather. My 4 yo says to me, "Mom, is summer over?" I think this weather is confusing her. Honey, I don't blame you.
