Somehow I found enough energy to mop the kitchen floor this morning. A couple of hours later I witness Lily spraying her juice box like a foundation all over the floor. Really?
Lucy doesn't cry too much but she has managed to cry every time I drop Layna off and pick her up from pre-school! She cries so loud that Layna's pre-school teacher and I can't even hear each other- so now we don't even attempt to talk. Really?
Layna has been sick on and off for 2 weeks so we took her to the doctor. The doctor said she has a terrible sinus infection that was turning into pneumonia. Really?
Last but not least- before we had the baby our neighbors did not have dogs. Since we have had the baby ALL of our surrounding neighbors got dogs and they bark a lot! Especially during nap time and at night. Really?
Okay, now some positive thoughts. My Uncle and Aunt are coming to visit this weekend and we are going to celebrate my dad's birthday! Layna is swimming like a pro and on her way to making the swim team and she isn't even 5 yet. You go Girl! My loving husband is already in the process of planning a family vacation for next summer- YES! Now, what about one without the kids?

Just another fun packed evening at home with all my girls. It seems like more often than not, it's the older girls and I wrestling, dancing, singing, chasing, you name it. Mom and baby Lucy are somewhere else in the house taking it easy. But I'm always looking for opportunities to escape the madness of toddlerville and visit babyville. I love getting the chance to hold my little LuLu (my nickname for Lucy) when she's actually awake. We seem to all be finding our little niche in this new family of five, and things seem to be calming down. I'm definitely looking forward to the 3-day weekend. I'd love to spend it at the pool, but for some reason it seems to feel more like November out lately. Anyone up for a BBQ?
